Yes, you may need to invest some time and maybe invest in some tools or resources to help you organize your life, however, the result and peace of mind will be worth it in the end.

But, get rid of anything you don’t want to keep, then keep the notes and other papers in their own folders before storing them in filing boxes or filing crates. You can store the filing box in your basement (if you have one), or somewhere out of sight in your home. You can use hanging file folders to separate your class notes or regular folders. Remember to label each folder before filing them.
